Austin + Hannah | Barns of Madison County Engagement

I had the privilege of spending last Friday evening with Austin and Hannah (and their pups!!) to capture their engagement photos and the beautiful Barns of Madison County. I’ve known Austin since we were in high school—his sister and I played softball together and I shot her wedding in 2019! Austin proposed on their family beach trip last summer and Hannah reached out to me shortly after. We tried to wait until the weather warmed up to book their engagements but, of course, we got the coldest day in the last two weeks to shoot!

Cody and Julia met me at their venue, the stunning Belle's Pleasure in Fredericksburg, Virginia, on a beautiful Saturday in March for their engagement photos. The light during this session just proves that winter light can be beautiful too, even without leaves to filter through!

Mr. and Mrs. Gelles | Northern Virginia Farm Wedding

Tyler and Annie got married at the stunning and historic Sunnyside Farm in Hamilton, Virginia. The weather was perfect for an early October wedding. Thankfully we were blessed with a beautiful overcast day and not a single drop of rain!! It was an emotional and fun day all around. I loved how thoughtful Annie’s details were to her. She incorporated many family heirlooms and things her mother had given her, which made it extra special.

Austin and Sami’s central Virginia barn wedding was emotional (and fun!) from start to finish. Their family and bridal party welcomed me like I was one of their own from the very beginning.

Kody + Kate | Fourth of July Virginia Farm Wedding

Kody and Kate got married on the Fourth of July at the beautiful Layz S Ranch in central Virginia. These two and their entire bridal party were total troopers as we toughed out 90+ degree heat and direct sun to capture all of these amazing pictures. The day also included a father-daughter dance that started out with playing catch, surprise confetti cannons courtesy of the groomsmen, and Kate surprising Kody with Signature DJs’ awesome “Sparktacular Impact” exit

Corey and Katy got married in a beautiful intimate ceremony with only their immediate families present on a breezy early Spring day in Fredericksburg, Virginia. They had planned to have their ceremony and reception in June but Corona changed all of that.

Jack and Erika got married in a beautiful intimate ceremony at their aunt and uncle’s house in Fredericksburg, Virginia. They had originally reached out to me in March when they were planning their wedding for mid-June of this year. Unfortunately Corona kind of ruined those plans.
